AI Design + Development

The majority of our shoe design has been by artificial intelligence with our designer steering along the process and making refinements. The AI process is broken down into stages and primarily features concept creation, sketch formation, model generation, and pattern generation.

Concept Creation

We used MidJourney AI to help us conceptualize the shape of our design and how it would look overall. This helped us reduce time from sketching as we already landed on a more concrete direction.

Sketching

Once our path was ideated we needed to take the concepts and materialize them. Our designer created a sketch from the concepts which we worked to make a 3D model from using AI to generate.

3D Model Generation

After we had the clearly defined shape of our shoe we now needed a version that can be formed into the final product. A 3D shape that we can generate patterns to and is designed for our multi dimensional world. This was done by using our sketch to generate a model with Vizcom AI.

Texturing + Patterns

We went through multiple stages of revisions to get the patterns and textures right. We used Generative AI to help create the patterns all around and give the shoe definition and a stellar look.
